I n the morning, I woke up , an d t h e f i s h we re b a c k th e re a ga i n
a n d showing. About half seve n i n t h e m o r n i n g , I g o t a ri p p i n g
t a ke and played in anothe r g o o d f i s h . I g o t i t i n th e n e t , a n d
when I looked, it was one o f t h e kn ow n b i g S avay c o m mo n s .
T h is fish normally goes 40 , a n d t hey c al l i t t h e L um p o f L e a d
Co mmon. It went 38lb at t hi s t i m e, b u t a ga i n , wh a t a s t u n n i n g

Daniel came back with h i s m um f ro m h is g ra n d mo th e r’ s ,
a n d I grabbed him straigh t away a n d to o k h i m b a c k d ow n
to Christchurch with me. He h ad a f l o at ro d , a n d we s t arte d
