We’re just a few days shy of Christmas
as I jot this final piece of 2025. It’s always
a time of reflection and as I look back
there have certainly been some highs and
lows through 2025. The sudden passing of
Johnny Mac was a real low point. He was
such a character and will be sadly missed.
Then we also lost the legendary Jim
Gibbinson. Very much a pioneer of modern
carp fishing. Then this month Mitch Smith
sadly left us. From all the team here we
wish all those families out there who have
lost someone the very best of wishes.
I’m not one to finish on a sad note. I hope
you are all enjoying the unseasonably
mild weather we are having to get out
there finish your own 2025 season in style.
In this month’s mag we have lots of tips
and tricks from some of the best anglers
around. Be lucky and all the best for 2026!!
