h a ndfuls of bait onto a s p o t
I f ancied, ready for dropp i n g
o n it this morning for a f e w
h o urs. A tree on the far b a n k
w as the likely looking spot a n d
a f t er nearly 2 hours of be i n g
s e t up, sure enoug h I w a s
i n to this little old fella. I wa s
r u n straight into a sn ag a n d
i t all went dead for a mi n u t e
b u t fortunately came free a n d
e n ded up safely in the net .

fighting fit canal common
with a story or 2 to tell by
the looks of that tail. Again,
rig flicked towards the trees
on the far bank with a small
scattering of freebies just
enough to nick a quick bite
before heading off to work,
b e s t w a y t o s t a r t t h e d a y.
