M anor. Amazingly, I had a re la t ive ly g o o d r u n a n d arr ive d a t
a round 16:30. I opted for o n e o f o nly t wo sw i m s l e ft i n th e
d e ep end of the lake. T he we at h er wa s g o o d , a n d i t l o o ke d
g o od for a bite. I positi on ed a ll t h re e ro d s c l o s e i n a t a ro u n d
s even wraps. The n ight ca m e a n d we n t w i t h o u t a ny a ct i o n ,
b u t I had heard a fish clos e by i n th e ea rly h o u rs . I wa s u p by
7 a m watching the water fo r a ny s i gn s o f f i s h . T h e lake wa s
f l at calm, and by around mi d d ay, i t b e c a me o bv i o u s t h a t I h ad
to reposition the rods, as I h ad s e en a fa i r a m o u n t o f f i zz i n g
a l l a few rod lengths furthe r th a n I h a d c as t . B e fo re I re c a s t ,
I s hared a cup of tea and a ch a t wi t h a co up l e o f t h e l a d s th a t
h a d both c aught new P Bs i n th e l as t 2 4 h o u r s . T h e a t m o s p h e re
o n the lake was electric, a n d yo u j u st d i d n’t k n ow wh a t wa s
