REFLECTIONS

ollowing
on
my
productive winter
campaign on orchid
I decided to head
back to Bluebell lakes (Swan)
for a spring campaign!
Arriving back at the lake
which I fished from winter/
Spring last year I looked at
targeting the areas I did last
year with the same tactics!
After a good few walks around
the lake and speaking to some
of the regulars it was apparent
the fish were holding up in
new areas and my swim choice
would have to change up from
last year!
My first session
back I decided to target the
garden 1 area as I’d seen fish
in that zone and it is a very
popular swim which is very
hard to get in and commands
and out of bounds reed line!
I had nothing the first night
but the next morning I had an
unreal 33lb two tone common
which I caught out of a cove
just off of the reed line!
That afternoon got warm and
decided to floater fish which
resulted in a mega 39.12 mirror
and also a smaller carp off the
top! That night was pretty
