wasn’t easy. Certainly not
disheartened I vowed to return
again at some point for another
go. My friends on Mallard had
managed a handful of bites so
they had definitely made the
right decision.
Session 3: My third trip
was definitely a memorable
one. It was a spontaneous trip
I found a lot of fish showing
in the gardens swims on
Swan. A good south westerly
blowing into the weedy part of
the lake I bucketed my swim
in the third garden swim to
give myself some room from
the guy in gardens 1. This was

running the job and offered to
take the next week off fishing.

get on a few fish arose.

bright yellow pop ups foamed
them up and fished in the weed
with singles. I settled in for
the night and sat on my hands.
I woke up to a melting run in
the early hours as light was just
starting to break and a good ten
minute battle commenced and
I bundled a chunky common
into the net. I was so chuffed
with the result of catching from
Swan. Although I’d not done
much time I knew every fish
was hard earned from there. It
was a real fist clenched “YES”
moment.
