The Simple Rules: You
are usually read the simple
rules as you are booked on
in reception before you start

are the main ones. Also driving
speed round the fishery at a
maximum of 10mph. You won’t
get too many warnings before you
fishing. Before this you are
required to walk round with
a bucket to select your swim
on your chosen lake. You get
a sticker on your bucket with
a two hour slot to reserve and
you can update this throughout
the day if it takes you longer.
The bucket goes in the swim
and you return to pay and then
your good to drive to you peg
or the nearest point. Y o u c a n
also reserve swim with a
bucket sticker if you are
waiting to get in a swim
a f t e r a n o t h e r a n g l e r. J u s t
ask for a reserved sticker
and put your bucket in
swim waiting for angler
t o v a c a t e. D u r i n g t h e
are asked to leave and depending
where you have travelled from
in the country these rules are
worth reading unless you want a
wasted journey.
The lakes: There are five
lakes on the Bluebell complex
mostly named after birds apart
from Bluebell lake itself. All my
information is based on current
times with info I gathered while
I worked there.
Bluebell: Bluebell is thought
of as more of an intermediate
lake for beginners although it
holds a few chunks to scraper
40s and a fair few 30s your most
likely to catch doubles and 20s.
A good chance of catching but
still not a runs water it can be
