for a quick look around and
stumbled across a couple of
commons, nothing special
but as they were the 1st fish
to show in nearly 2 weeks
they were a welcome sight.
So, at first light I snuck
out and dropped a couple of
rigs onto some likely spots
w h e r e t h e f i s h w e r e. A f t e r a
few hours of no action and
with the sun edging its way
h i g h e r i n t h e s k y, I t h o u g h t
any chance of a fish had
passed... until the same 2

fish from last night cruised
past under my rod tips and
headed towards my righth a n d r i g. I c r o u c h e d d o w n
by my rods and watched
them disappear down onto
my spot. Within seconds I
was into this hard fighting
common giving me my first
one this month :-)
