A right little character from
this morning!
Possibly one of the most
bizarre ways iv outwit a fish. The
gear was packed away and I was
nearly ready to go but I caught
a glimpse of this white shape
cruise slowly past under my feet.
On a whim I screwed a bait
on my rig and (all but the lead)
under-armed it into the path
of the fish and bang! Nailed it
straight away as it slowly sank.
What a last-minute opportunity
3rd September 2017!
So yesterday I made a last
second decision to drop onto the
good old Staffs Worcs canal for
the first time this year.
I went to a spot that’s often
come up with half decent fish in
the past and I’m glad I returned
for another sesh as I managed to
put 2 fish on the bank in a short
morning, this one being not just
the best of the 2, but a new pb
for this stretch
