and they spun round and settled at 39lb exactly, not the 40lbplus I was expecting, but after spawning, she was slightly down
in weight . At the end of the day, it’s just a number, as the weight
of the fish doesn’t take anything away from its capture. It’s
still the same fish regardless of its weight – not just any fish
though… another of the big girls for me! Photos were taken,
and my moments holding her were captured. The smile on my
face said it all. I was more than happy with my morning’s work,
and why wouldn’t I be, as I had just got a new PB?
