After working away for a c o u p le o f we eks a n d n o t b e i n g a b l e
to get fishing for a few we eks du e to b e i n g b u sy w i t h wo rk , I
d e cided to do a quick over n i gh t s es s i o n o n Tu e s d ay t h e 6 th of
N ovember. I turned up at my sy n d i c a te , Fr ye rn i n g ’ s F i s h e ry,
a t around 3pm and noticed t h ere we re a fe w an gl e rs o n . A f te r
a quick look to see what p e gs we re ava i la b le , I n o t i c e d a p eg
c a lled the Double Dam was f re e. T h i s i s a p e g t h a t d o es te n d to
h o ld the carp through the c o ld e r m o n t h s d u e to b e i n g o n e o f
t h e deepest parts of the lake , a n d i t c o m ma n d s a l o t o f wa te r.
I knew a few spots that pro d u c ed b i g f i sh a t t h i s ti me o f ye a r.
I wasted no time in f indi n g my s p o t s a n d m a rk i n g t he m u p . I
f i s hed my left rod at 8 0 ya rd s o n a h ard cl ay s p o t , my mi d d l e
ro d at 60 yards to soft clay / s i lt a n d my r i ght ro d at 4 0 ya rd s ,
a s I know they get in clos e o n a s o u th e a ste rly w i n d . M y l e f t
