Just as I was ready to b r i n g t h e ro d s i n f o r t h e f in a l t i m e.
I had one of my bobb ins p u l l u p t i g h t a n d t h e s p o o l s l o w l y
s t arted ticking. I pi cked u p t h e r o d a n d p ul l e d i n to a d e a d
w eight. I could feel there w a s a f i s h o n b u t i t w a sn ’t m o v e
m uch just plodding very s l o w.
It kited to the right ma r g i n , so I g o t i n t o t h e w a de r s a n d
j u mped off the edge of th e b o a r d s .
I think I was playi ng fo r wh a t s e e m e d l i k e 4 5 m i n s I j u s t
c ould do much with th e s h e e r we i g h o f t h e f i s h .
A few more runs and I w a d e d o u t d o w n t h e m a r g i n a n d
s l ipped the net under it.
