The lake is weedy and 2025 is
t h e we e d i e s t i t ’s b e e n s o f a r,
making presentation difficult.
Thankfully we can use bait
boats and these have been a
game changer for dropping in
s m a l l h o l e s i n t h e w e e d . Wi t h
p a rties w hich were alw a y s
w ell attended. The lake w a s
s t ocked mainly with C3 i n t h e
8 - 10lb bra cket and they h a v e
a b solutely thrived in the r i c h
a b a i t b o a t i t ’s t e m p t i n g t o
put too much bait in. I prefer
t o j u st h a v e t h e P VA b a g a n d
h a n d f u l o f c r u sh e d b o i l i e s
a n d p e l l e t s i n t h e h o p p e r. T h e
