s t yle of fishing, and what h e a p p l i e d to t h e d o cks wa s n o t h i n g
s o rt of breathtaking.
He used to fish the docks as i f i t wa s a r un s wa te r, s o m e wh e re
t h at bites can be hard to co me by, bu t he wo u ld be c h o p p i n g a n d
c h anging t hings on a regul ar b as i s . He s ai d to me o n c e t h a t h e
l oved to fish alongside me , a s I gave h i m s o m u c h en t h u s i a s m
a n d encouragement , and h e h ad l ea r n t s o m u ch f ro m f i s h i n g
w i th me, and I thought the s a m e a b o u t h i m . It ’ s s t ra n g e h ow we
d o n’t boost our own ego a n d a l l t hi n k s o me o n e e l s e i s bet te r
a t doing things that in real i t y we a re g o o d a t o u r s e lve s .
