can only say it had it had the smell of the seaside, not fishy but
a kind of ozone/seaweed smell. I used a liquid colour ( yellow),
and the bait turned out as good as I’d hoped. The oyster powder
was difficult to work with, and I had the last jar, so I needed a
backup flavour. I had a ginger and oyster sauce one made up.
The smell was spot-on but not a patch on the powder.
