let their guard down giving
you a sense of achievement if
you do manage to meet a few
of the many jewels that reside
in there. Fishing the shallows
you’re faced with large areas
of the infamous beds of Kelp
weed which the fish absolutely
love. It can be a daunting
challenge of maybe getting it
right.
Thankfully this time, the lake
seemed to be in a forgiving
mood after what turned out to
be an absolute crazy session! So
many highs and lows but loved
every minute of it, walking away
with more than a few mental
bruises but a massive sense of
prospect with nighttime boat
battles in tricky conditions
but in a strange way can, for
me anyway, keep pulling you
back to fish there with the
achievement....this time! Final
tally was a 1 Double, 3 Twenties
to 27lb, 3 Thirties to 39lb and a
fish known as ‘Kenny’ at 42lb
