BUNDY’S
OVERNIGHTERS
As the working week rolled by, it was soon back to Saturday
morning. The wife goes to work, and I get to look after our
beautiful 18-month-old daughter Phoebe for the day. Since the
birth of our daughter, my fishing time has been limited to just
being able to do overnighters and the odd evening session (not
that I’m moaning) instead of the usual 24 to 36-hour sessions,
but this has made me spend my time on the bank more wisely,
making sure I give myself the best possible chance of nicking a
bite or two. Since I have been luckily enough to have a Bundy’s
ticket for the past two and a half years, I have had the pleasure
of catching quite a few of its gems and my main target, called
Petals, all 41lb 8oz of her in my first full season. She’s a rare
visitor to the bank and even more special being a mirror from
the pit of commons. Since then I have turned my attention to
