i t was obvious that the car p we re al l d ow n o n e e n d o f t h e l a ke
i n the weed and kelp. Wit h mo st o f t he sw i m s t ake n , I s e t u p
i n a swim known as the Ca r Pa rk . I h a d a le a d a b o u t , a n d i t
was clear that the silkweed wa s g row i n g i n a b u n d a n ce a nd t h e
ke lp was high and thick. Eve n tu a lly I ma n a ge d to f i n d t wo h a rd
s p ots – one was approximate ly 5 0 ya rd s o ut to t h e r i gh t h an d
s i de of the swim up again st t h e we ed a n d ke l p a n d a m a rg i n
s p ot tight to the reed bed.
I decided I would start w i th fo u r s m al l Sp om b s o f CC M o o re
Pa cific Tuna boilies and p el le t ove r t h e s p o t o u t i n to t h e l a ke
a n d fish two rods on it . On th e ma rg i n s p o t , I o p ted fo r a Pa c i f i c
Tu na stick mix and a spread o f b o i l i es l e ad i n g u p to t h e s p o t .
