Well what a long summer that was!! The
temperatures are finally dipping below 20
degrees and you can even see your breath
some evenings. The temperature drop is
a great trigger for the carp to get on the
munch to get through the winter. Now’s
the time to be maximising your bank time
if you can. Those that are out are reaping
the rewards judging by the catch reports.
It amazing to see how many big carp we
now have in this country. Even the North
is producing 60lbers!!
On a sad note, out the blue we lost one of
the UK’s finest carp anglers, Jonny Mac.
What a character he was. If you were lucky
enough to know him you were always
entertained with his antics and boy could
he put some big carp on the bank. Makes
you realised how fragile life is and that
you need to go out there and enjoy it.
