I first fished Wormleybury in 1985 when I was 14 years old.
It wasn’t until 1986 when I had my first Wormleybury carp, a
mirror known as Two Scales at 25lb 12oz, caught from a swim
known as Gertie’s. My brother Kevin, that same morning… well,
in fact ten minutes later, caught Fatty at 26lb. It’s just a shame I
haven’t got a photo of that to hand of two brothers both sharing
