After a decent battle, the
first fish was in the net. With
the area still active and fish
still showing, I knew I had to
get the rod back out.
The time was eventful.
I caught 15 fish, the wind
howling into this little bay, and
my alarms were busy. It was
a red letter day. The last fish
was a mint 30 common, which
was a cherry on the cake. After
early hours of the morning, the
wind changed direction away
from the area, and the fish
drifted off. So, when I woke up,
all I could hear was the dawn
chorus and nature doing what
it does best.
