old raft of weed at around 50
yards and just short of it, was
a lovely clear strip of deeper
s i l t y w a t e r. S p r e a d i n g b o i l i e s
a l l o v e r th i s s t r i p w i t h t h e
catapult and then staggering
hinges across the channel, just
s h o rt o f t h e w e e d p r o d u c e d
the biggun.
