A
house move at the
end of 2024 meant
I was no longer a
sensible distance
from my syndicate and with
a baby on the way it wasn’t
practical being so far away.
Luckily for me I happened to
move 5 minutes away from Oak
Lake fisheries who happened
to have a small members club
lake on with a few 40s to go at.
Running Atomic Tackle h a s

f i s hing has been very li mi t e d .
Yo u wouldn’t think runn i n g
a tackle company meant less
fishing but to be brutally
h o n e s t . M o st o f t h e t i m e y o u
are on shoot with jobs todo.
E v e r y sp a re h o u r o f t h e d a y
is pumped into work, and
y o u r o wn f i s h i n g d o e s s u f f e r.
H o w e v e r, b e i n g s o c l o s e I
do manage the odd weekday
o v e rn i g h t e r b e t w e e n w o r k .

up around 6pm and leaving by
7am. A few sessions passed
