I t was either my fi rst o r
s e cond visit when I met th e
n o w well known carp an g l e r
J e rry Hammond. It was a t
t h e rear of the island sec t i o n
o f the lake. He didn’t q u i t e
h a ve a complete set up eit h e r.
H e had matching Rod s a n d
b u zzers and a decent Bri t i sh
A r my issue sleeping bag b u t

w as looking better than m y

t o think of it, he was bui lt l i k e

these baits sparingly as they

fishing tight to the island with
both rods and noticed a few
times carp would roll over or
lunk out over my baited areas.
