s o on became apparent tha t I wa s a tt a ch e d to d e c e n t f i s h , a s i t
to ok 30 yards of lin e off a t i gh t c lu tc h a n d p owe red o f f d ow n
t h e reed-fringed margin a s I s tr u g gl ed to p u t t h e b ra ke s o n .
