rod tore off and I sadly lost
what looked like a very big
common at the net. With
no hesitation I got another
bag deployed and the next
morning I received a few
beeps and the bobbin pulled
up tight and I was hooked
into what I believed to be a
small one until it rolled and
then burst into action. After
a short lived hairy battle I
slipped the net under the fish
BigCarp 72
and I looked to my pal and
s a i d “ Ye a h t h a t ’s a s e r i o u s l y
big fish”. She went 53.05lb
a f t e r t h e s l i n g a n d I c o u l d n ’t
quite believe what had just
happened. It was great to
share it with a load of mates
and a memory I will cherish
f o r e v e r.
