s p o ts t o c a t c h a l o t o f f i s h ,
that there were big: Bream,
C a r p , Te n c h a n d e v e n B a r b e l ,
s o l i k i n g t h e t h o u g ht o f
catching some of these exotic
monsters I again got my mum
to drop me off there (during
f i s hes, caught thro ugh m y
o wn research and rea d i n g.
M y mind racing surely a g r e a t
w hite shark capture was o n
t h e cards!!

t h eir way into my k eep n e t . I

f i s h, also predatory fish s u c h
a s perch and pike, learn in g i t
w asn’t a good idea to put pe r c h
i n a keep net with Gud g e o n
a n d silver fish as they se em e d
t o disappear when taking t h e
k e ep net o ut, whilst the pe r c h
h a d doubled their size!!
Someone had told me ab o u t
the school holidays) with my

Gudgeon, roach, perch and
the odd small bream. On this
o c c a si o n I h a d p i c k e d t o f i sh

opposite the footpath bank,
